What are your thoughts on Suno Ai / Baby Timbo and just AI and music in general?

After watching half of the video below, I created a free account and accidentally generated these two pieces. I was aiming for the beat, but it also created lyrics from my prompt (since I’m obviously clueless on the topic). What struck me wasn’t the lyrics (they're kind of funny but cute) or the chords (they're generic but no more so than a lot of music on DSPs these days—I’d even say less generic than most, thanks to my prompt).

What struck me was the sound. The compression. All these things we crave, the things we spend decades trying to achieve, the gear we buy... Those transients are there! Aren’t they? How can that be, and should we shift our approach because of it? Should we?
